Days Gone Cascade Railway Ambush Camp

Stealth on approach

Hello everybody.

The Cascade Railway Ambush Camp is part of the Ambush Camp Hunter story line, it’s located northeast of Wizard Lake Camp on the snowy edge of the map.

I did this mission after the Nero Research site that was in the mountain by the Aspen Butte Ambush Camp so I was travelling from there to the Cascade Railway, on the way I ran into a sniper ambush, when this happens park your bike as soon as you can and take cover. The sniper should be your first priority and then the rest.

I approach the camp from the south, you should see the smoke from the camp long before you reach it. I rode my bike to within 100 m and park in the bushes by a big rock. My arrival attracted some attention and one marauder came to investigate but was easily taken out, there are 15 marauders in total in this camp. There is plenty of cover at the entrance to the camp, the main part of the camp is on the other side of the box car where the cover becomes a little more spread out. You should be able to take out 3 or 4 through the box car door before advancing. There will be a sniper to you left, he’s hard to see because he blends in with the rock. The second sniper is further to the left on the other side of the railing. I didn’t see the heavy gunner that was by the boxes around the entrance and was surprised by him later when I was going through the camp. Other than that it was pretty straight forward, there’s no shortage of cover. When all of the marauders are taken care of you can enter the bunker, if I was more observant I would’ve notice the bunker by the boxes at the entrance of the camp, instead I looked everywhere and eventually found it. When you read the map the mission will be complete, you’ll earn 4000XP, 2650 credits, 1100 camp trust points, the Ambush Camp Hunter story line will be updated, and you’ll get the explosive bolt craft recipe.

Thanks for watching, God Bless and happy gaming.
