Hello everybody.
This horde is located southwest of the Old Saw Mill and northeast of the Santiam Tunnel Nero Checkpoint. If you are doing this mission in the day time they will be in the cave at the location listed previously. If you are doing it at night the horde will be either down the hill from the Santiam Tunnel Nero Checkpoint around a tipper over dump truck or further down the hill on the shore of Berley Lake.
I did this mission in the day time so from the bushes in front of the cave I used an attractor to lure them out of the cave. Once the Freakers started to appear I began throwing Molotov Cocktails, after 6 Molotovs and 1 grenade it appeared that all the Freakers were down, however the horde music was still playing so I used a second attractor and threw it just a little further into the cave. Another group of Freakers appeared which seemed to be more in number than the first. After 5 grenades and 3 pipe bombs there was still 3 Freakers that survived so I used the auto shotgun on them. When I didn’t get the mission complete screen I went inside the cave to find about 6 Freakers. I fabricated 2 more Molotovs which took out half of them, the other 3 began to chase me but the auto shotgun downed them in a hurry. The auto shotgun is definitely very effective at close range.
This mission pays 3000XP, 1900 credits, 600 trust points, and the Horde Killer story line will be updated.
