Hello everybody.
This mission is part of the Protecting The Weak story line and takes place in the Hwy 97 region, it’s unlocked when you first arrive at Wizard Island and do the mission We Will Take Back This World. The Colonel will give you an assignment to rescue Justine Norwood who has been kidnapped.
The marauders are held up in a railway tunnel northeast of Wizard Island. Your destination is about 1.1 kms from the camp, I left by the north entrance and followed the location marker. The route will take you by a Nero Checkpoint and a couple of marauder camps and through the tunnel into Hwy 97 territory. If you follow the destination marker it will bring you under the railway bridge the goes over Santiam Hwy and right by an infestation zone as well as some Cryer Nests. Follow the train tracks till you reach some box cars and hide your bike. There’s some loot in the first box car and you’ll get a good shot at the sniper form the second. Up ahead there’s another couple of box cars, if you stay in the second last car you’ll be able to take out most of the marauder through the open doors, there are 12 in total. Once the entrance is clear you can start advancing into the tunnel. There are plenty of boxes to use as cover, move up and take cover behind the boxes on the left, there will be a burn barrel in front of you that lights up the area, beyond that will be another box car with the last 4 marauders in and around it. You should be able to take out all but the one in the box car from behind cover. If you can’t see them aim for their flash lights. When all of the marauders are down go to the end of the tunnel and rescue Justine. As you get close a cut scene will play, when it’s over Justine is freed and the mission comes to an end. For this mission you’ll get 5000XP, 3500 credits, 1800 camp trust points, and the Protecting The Weak story line will be updated.
