Hello everybody
In this video, I go into Cyberspace and unlock Diego’s storage room and the Beta Grove transit. The Cyberspace on the Executive level is located west of the main elevator.
The first Cyberspace room you come to has no defenses. The switch on your upper left has to be hit first with the I.C.E. Drill and then with your pulser. This will deactivate the barrier on the bottom left. On the other side of the barrier is the Turbo Dash software. The switch on the other side of the room, once you shoot it, will drop the barrier to the rest of Cyberspace.
First Battle
There is one small alcove in the ceiling where you are somewhat protected. I find it easier to change my orientation so the alcove looks like it’s below me. The enemies that will come out include a couple of Cyber Stingers (the green things). There are also some Cyber Dogs and Cyber Guards. All you have to do is stay in the alcove and move back and forth while you are shooting. When the last enemy is down, I had lost six health points. You just need to survive even with one point. There is one health in the room. Four more are at the back of the next room.
Next Room
The next room only has mines in it. Move to the back of the room, shooting mines as you go. Behind the flange of the entrance to the next room, there are four more health.
Second Battle
As soon as you come out of the corridor, you’ll see the Cyber Lock for Diego’s storage room. This you can shoot unhindered. There’s pretty much every kind of Cyber Defense in this room. The good news is you can shoot a lot of them from a distance. Move into the room. Stop when you see a couple of windows open in the floor. Then retreat to the corridor. When the first wave looks to be eliminated, go to the sides of the room and look for more enemies. Look carefully into the distance; if you see enemies, you can shoot them before they advance on your position. You’ll also see when more windows open, giving you time to retreat. Eventually, they’ll stop coming. When that happens, go grab some health and look for the Escape Software at the back of the room. Once you have the Escape Software, you don’t have to go any further. There is an alternate way to unlock the Beta Grove transit in Beta Quadrant.
The Third Battle
This battle I think is the hardest of this Cyberspace. When you arrive at the room, there isn’t anywhere to take cover behind. I went right for one of the windows. I thought that at least I’ll get a few of them. As for the rest, you just have to get moving. When your health gets low, grab a health; there are two in the room. When the first wave is eliminated, there will be a second wave. If you survive this room, you should make it to the end.
The Tunnel With The Mines
The only thing I wasn’t sure of was my orientation. You want the mines to be on your left and right, not top and bottom. You’ll know it’s right if the corridor goes either up or down when you enter. As soon as you enter the corridor, press your down button and your backwards button. This will slow you down enough so you can avoid the mines. When I went through, I’m not sure if I was holding my backwards button. I hit one mine right at the end; I had 13 health points before I hit it and 7 after. All the while when you are bouncing off the corridor, you are taking some damage. There’s a health at the end and then the Cyber Lock. After that, the exit.
That’s it for this one.
Thanks for watching, God Bless, and happy gaming.
