Hello everybody and welcome.
This time around I face off against Cyborg Diego again for a second time. As it turned out a Security 2 Bot showed up while I was waiting outside of Flight Bay 2 so I had to hide in one of Diego’s offices while I did my introduction for the video. Coming out of the office with my Rapier at the ready I made quick work of it. The Flight Bay is patrolled by 4 Security 2 Bots so carefully take them out before you jump down. The strategy to use for the Diego battle is to use your Rapier coupled with a Berserk Combat Booster patch and your Energy Projectile Shield on. As you approach the escape pod door Diego will come out triggering a brief cut scene rendering you powerless to do anything. So to insure that you will be within striking distance when he comes out, approach the door from one of the sides, I chose the north side. Even with my shield on I lost about two thirds of my health by the time the battle was over so he is a lot tougher this time compare to the first time. After the fight you can access the escape pods. Go in the door that Diego came out of, head down the ramp and chose one of the shuttle lifts. To get into one of the escape pods enter 001 into the keypad and the lift door will open, step inside and it will bring you into an escape pod automatically. Once inside the escape pod pull the lever on the console, this will trigger a short cut scene where you take a seat and a departure countdown starts. When the countdown reaches zero instead of blasting off the console shorts out and Shodan appears on all of the monitors. She will not allow you to leave after you have set the core to self destruct. So since the escape pod is no longer available head back into the Flight Bay. When you get there you’ll receive an email from Rebecca Lansing, in it she tells you not to panic, Shodan has started the Bridge separation sequence but it will take some time but when it happens you’ll need to be there. She also tells you they have a team of engineers who worked on Shodan and they’ll feed you information while you’re making you way to the Bridge. The rest of the email is lost when Shodan interrupts.
