Hello everybody. In this post, I go into more detail on how to get to the Skully and into the Gamma Quadrant. In the video, I enter the Gamma Quadrant through the Core entrance. The Core is located east of the elevator that services the Engineering level. Follow the gangway that goes by the elevator, keeping left; this will bring you to the Delta Quadrant entrance from the Core. The bottom level of the Core has entrances to Alpha, Beta, and Delta; the entrance to Gamma is not functional. The second level has entrances to Alpha, Beta, and Gamma; the entrance to Delta is not functional. The only thing on the first level is a Mutated Cyborg, who does heavy damage, so care must be taken when you are neutralizing it. A good place to take cover when fighting the Mutated Cyborg is to the right of the entrance beside the wall. Besides the Cyborg, there’s a camera above the entrance. Around the corner from your position is a ladder to the first level. There are four cameras that can be taken out from the first level, one in each corner. Looking up at the ceiling above the Gamma Quadrant entrance, you’ll see a red plus mark; this is the only section of the ceiling with such a mark, so a closer look is warranted. From the second level in front of the Gamma Quadrant, boost up to the support beam above the entrance. There’s another support beam above the one you’re on, so jump to the side and then boost up to the support beam. The Skully is behind you, so turn around, jump up, and click the Skull.
Solving The Gamma Quadrant Entrance Puzzle.
In all likelihood, this puzzle will be different for you, but the principle will be the same. There are three power cables; two of them are double power, and the other one is single power. It’s not very difficult; I got it on the first try. There is one Exec-Bot patrolling the gangway just inside the entrance, be prepared to take it out, as there’s a chance that it’s right there as you open the door. The gangway inside the entrance goes around the corner to your left; there’s a short corridor with four doorways, two on each side. At the end of the corridor, there’s a switch on the wall that unlocks the other Quadrant entrances off of the Core. The switch on the desk at the entrance controls the four doorways, alternating which one is open and which three are closed. There are two doorways into the Medical Bay; the one on the right will be open the first time you enter the Gamma Quadrant. Before you enter, shoot the Proximity Mine that’s at the bottom of the ladder; there’s also another Mine at the bottom of the other ladder in the Medical Bay. This is one of, if not the best Medical Bays in the game with a Surgery Machine and a Power Station. This is where I stopped, so coming up next is the Cyberspace for the Engineering Level.
