The Mount Bailey Horde is part of the Horde Killer story line. Their cave is located due west of Diamond Lake the same place where there’s a Nero Research Site.
My plan was to take the horde out as they were coming out of their cave so I planted a proximity mine and remote bomb just outside the entrance, retreated to a bush away from the cave and used an attractor to lure them out. This has been a successful tactic on other hordes, sometimes two attractors are needed, but when nobody came out I realized that they were out somewhere. I checked the cave to confirm. I retrieved my explosives and was going to return to my bike when I saw the horde coming up the hill. There was a bush to hide in just down the hill a bit. I waited for them to get closer, used an attractor bomb to get them to go down the hill a bit and then hit them with 6 Molotov’s, 6 pipe bombs, and 5 grenades to eliminate this first horde of the Crater Lake region. This one pays 4000XP, 3500 credits, 1100 camp trust points, and the Horde Killer story line will be updated.
